وثيقة للتوقيع على عدم جدوى بقاء القرار الأممي 2216

من أجل إحلال السلام والوئام في اليمن أطالب أنا المواطن اليمني الموقع أدناه بإلغاء القرار الصادر عن مجلس الأمن التابع للأمم المتحدة رقم 2216 نتيجة للأسباب التالية:
- عرقلة القرار للحوار والتسوية السياسية في اليمن.
- انتفاضة الثاني من ديسمبر 2017 في صنعاء واستشهاد الزعيم الرئيس الأسبق علي عبدالله صالح.
- انتهاك القرار نفسه من خلال المفاوضات بين العربية السعودية والحوثيين.
- المناداة الدائمة للسفير اليمني السابق في الإمارات أحمد علي عبد الله صالح، على ضرورة إحلال السلام في اليمن ووقف نزيف الدم اليمني، بالإضافة إلى أنه ليس طرفاً من أطراف الصراع الدائر في اليمن منذ تسعة سنوات، وقبلها سلم الحرس الجمهوري تنفيذاً لقرار رئيس الجمهورية حينها عبدربه منصور هادي، كذلك عدم استخدامه للقوة بعد تفجير دار الرئاسة في العام 2011.
- الفتح الجزئي لميناء الحديدة ولمطار صنعاء الدولي.
- مجيء (شرعية) جديدة غير تلك التي طالبت بالتدخل الدولي.
- الدعوات الدائمة للمبعوث الأممي لليمن على ضرورة الحوار السياسي الشامل الذي لا يقصي أحد، وهذا يتناقض مع القرار 2216 الذي يفرض عقوبات كيدية مسيسة على السفير اليمني الأسبق في الإمارات أحمد علي عبدالله صالح، تمنعه من المشاركة في العملية السياسية، بالرغم من ان السفير أحمد علي عبد الله صالح، يملك تأييد السواد الأعظم من أبناء الشعب اليمني ويحتل منصب نائب رئيس حزب المؤتمر الشعبي العام.

"In order to achieve peace and harmony in Yemen, I, the undersigned Yemeni citizen, demand the cancellation of the resolution issued by the United Nations Security Council, Resolution 2216, for the following reasons:

- The resolution hinders dialogue and political settlement in Yemen.

- The December 2nd, 2017 uprising in Sana'a and the martyrdom of former President Ali Abdullah Saleh.

- Violation of the resolution itself through negotiations between Saudi Arabia and the Houthis.

- The continuous appeal by former Yemeni Ambassador to the UAE, Ahmed Ali Abdullah Saleh, for the necessity of peace in Yemen and stopping the Yemeni bloodshed. He is also not a party to the conflict ongoing for nine years in Yemen. Prior to that, he adhered to the Republican Guard's surrender following the decision of then-President Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi. He also refrained from using force after the Presidential Palace was bombed in 2011.

- The partial opening of the Hodeidah port and Sana'a International Airport.

- The emergence of a new 'legitimacy' other than the one that called for international intervention.

- The constant calls from the UN Special Envoy for Yemen for an all-inclusive political dialogue that doesn't exclude anyone, which contradicts Resolution 2216 imposing unjust sanctions on former Yemeni Ambassador to the UAE, Ahmed Ali Abdullah Saleh, preventing his participation in the political process. Despite this, Ambassador Ahmed Ali Abdullah Saleh enjoys the overwhelming support of a majority of Yemeni people and holds the position of Deputy Head of the General People's Congress Party.
